Life at Hart Care: A Halloween well spent

Autumn is the time of year when our friendly care home staff start to plan winter activities for our residents. Our Activities Co-ordinator is always looking for a variety of enjoyable things to do and our first themed activity took place on Halloween.

A fun-filled day for residents & staff

During the morning, residents and staff took part in Halloween bingo, pumpkin bowling and cauldron toss, and in the afternoon we fired up our authentic cinema projector and all enjoyed a spooky film together with plenty of classic cinema snacks to go around.

A spooky evening had by all

In the early evening, the whole care home put on their best halloween costumes and gathered in the living room for a brilliant Halloween party. Games, music and halloween themed food was enjoyed by all and the atmosphere in the home was one of laughter and joy. It was hard to tell who enjoyed it more, the staff or the residents, but one thing we can agree on is we’re all looking forward to what the Activities Coordinator has prepared next.
